I'm about to purchase an Aqua Vu Micro for my boyfriend, we live in Corpus Christi, TX where there is quite a bit of salt water fishing and I'd like to know if this unit can withstand our salty waters?
will the camera view downstream when fishing from a boat?
I fish in rivers and would like to see what is down stream behind the boat when i am anchored or back bouncing so i can see what is there. the camera I now have looks upstream it worked good is the sound on a downrigger and could see fish come up.
The Aqua-Vu AV-Micro Underwater Camera is designed to be used as a video camera and not for still photos. To turn the camera you would need to rotate the cord or lift the camera out of the water and drop it back down in a different direction.
Yes, as long as the sun isn't shining directly on the screen. I applied a anti glare screen protector to my unit, for a couple of reasons. It's a lot better than my marcum 620 in sunlight.

The screen on the Aqua-Vu AV-Micro Underwater Camera, item IK-021998 is designed to be used in bright sunlight, however if one holds it flat it will be more difficult to view than at some angle away from the sun.
