RUGER Ruger® Mark III™ and 22/45™ Semiautomatic Rimfire Pistols

Ruger’s classic .22 LR pistols. The Mark III pistols are simple, rugged and boast the perfect combination of proven design and reliability.  22/45 pistols have all the smooth-shooting characteristics of the Mark III, but have a grip nearly identical to the familiar 1911. Both designs are great for target shooting or small-game hunting. All have a Ruger-original loaded-chamber indicator and include two 10-round magazines. 10+1 capacity.

Frame is plastic. It seems to hold up well and is easy to clean and maintain. I don't see any issue as 22LR is relatively light shock and Ruger has a great history with their polymer guns.

Black 22/45 MkIII will NOT use Hogue wrap style grips as the OEM grip does not remove. Check it BEFORE you buy the gun, if that's what you want to put on it.

When mounting the rail be sure to use BLUE thread lock, then mount the red dot slight. The screws and holes need to be cleaned(alcohol is good) to remove oil and grease .

My Ruger Mark 3 target package came with a mounting plate that is screwed into the top of the pistol. Be sure to use LOCK TIGHT on the screws per the instructions. Whats also nice is the fact that the mounting plate isn't in the way of the iron sights when you remove the red dot sight.
