Question

Then IK-210325 replacement cylinder is machined different than the original?

My revolver has the "step, or turndown" like on the 1860 cylinder not straight like the replacement cylinder.

I have a Traditions 1858 New Army, .44 cal, 8" octagon barrel, no back strap, I bought it new, which says Pietta on the box.

The cylinder in my gun looks identical, even down to the engravings. The number on the box is FR18582. Will this cylinder work?
