Google "kinetic energy calculator" and assume 330 grain arrows (they are included), plus the broad head weight at 350 fps NOT 410 fps. 410 fps is with 400 grain arrows only. If you want 410 fps you have to buy different arrows.
There's a chart in the manual that states: 380 gr arrow - 418 fps 400 gr arrow - 410 fps 425 gr arrow - 357 fps
NOTE 430 grain arrows are included so don't plan on 410 fps as shipped.
The Barnett Ghost 410 Crossbow, item number. iK-461023, maximum range is almost impossible to tell as it depends on the shooters skill level. Many factors can influence this. The weight of the bolt and weight of the broadhead for one.
It's not recommended to leave crossbows cocked for extended periods. We would recommend un-cocking the crossbow at the end of each hunting session. Decocking bolts are available to unload a cocked crossbow.
You have to use a crossbow target for all crossbows. They are too powerful of shoot at using traditional compound targets. Some might stop the bolt but you will be lucky to be able to pull the bolt out without breaking it. If you but a crossbow target you'll be good to go.
