Question

does this unit include a siphon pump or is it totally dependant on incoming water flow rate?

I currently own a Coleman water heater of the same basic design. It has a seperate siphon pump which runs off the internal battery to pull water out of a 5 gal. bucket or similiar source. Does this model have the same optional accessory?

What type of water intake does this water heater use?

Does it have an external submersible pump, that can pump the water from any container, or does the unit have an internal tank of a gallon or so that you fill? Also, does it have a high pressure water supply hose intake option?

No, this unit comes with a submersible water pump, powered by the unit's internal rechargeable battery. While I highly recommend this product, this is one feature that it doesn't support.

To the mechanically inclined, such a modification could be made, by using an external pressure reducer, though not officially supported.

Question

Cooling? Shower pole?

I own the zodi hot an extreme. I'm currently placing a sauna on my property in Northern, MN that is off grid. The sauna will have 10 gallon hot water reservoir on the stove. I'm wondering if this unit would cool the water if it's too hot coming from the reservoir . Also I'm wondering if it comes with a shower pole system. Would this be the best system for me or can you direct me to something else. I like the zodi but find it tedious to have to pump/ pressurize the water all the time. So I'm looking for an upgrade.
