CABELA'S Cabela's Mesh GORE-TEX® X4 All Terrain Shoe

Equally at home on the sidewalk and mountainside trail, the GTX X4 is our new all-terrain mesh/leather adventure shoe. It's equipped with a 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane to keep feet dry. The anatomic polyurethane footbed provides support and cushioning. Unique X4 Technology Foam is strategically positioned in the heel and forefoot. As the heel strikes, the foam absorbs shock while the foam in the forefoot assists in the rebound of the step process. The heart of this shoe is a molded EVA midsole that serves as an incredible supporting foundation and lends comfort to the design. A midfoot bridge adds greater stability for the arch and ankle while simultaneously reducing foot stress. Underneath, the Multitrack II nonmarking outsole affords superior traction and durability. Men's Sizes: 8-15 D, EE and 9-15 4E. Half sizes to 12. Color: Charcoal.

Would not recommend a low cut shoe in the snow. Think you want something ankle or calf height unless you want snow in your shoes.

I wear a 13 medium shoe and bot these in the same size. The length is right on. I find that athletic shoes are usually a bit wider than street shoes and these are a little wider but not enough to adjust the size in my case. I love them

The Cabela's Mesh GTX® X4 All Terrain Shoe, Item: IK-823799, is true to size and in your instance, since we do not have the 12.5, we would recommend ordering up to the 13.

Although I think they are better suited for cooler weather, I wear them year round in north Texas. They are a bit more sturdy than my regular running shoes but they are not uncomfortable in warm weather. I am very satisfied with this shoe.

My size 12 D's weigh 21.20 oz per shoe, so 42.4 oz per pair. Maybe a bit heavy, compared to some of the new 5 finger or ballet slipper style hiking shoes, but I'll take the 3 pounds for better protection of my foot when I'm 14 miles deep in the Grand Canyon!

My scale would not register a weight. I went to my weight set to compare. If I had to guess both shoes together weigh 2 - 2.5 pounds.

Not sure if this helps as I never weighed them, but they are not too heavy. Easy to walk a lot in. I would say pretty much typical for that style of shoe.
